Dream

Hi Ian My daughter is 24 but for many years I have had a recurring dream, where I have abandoned her in her cot, and not attended to her for ages. I am anxious to get back to the cot wondering if she is alive. I usually do find she is OK, but the other night my I dreamed that her cot was on fire. I was worried that I would burn all my fingers but I managed to rescue her. Why do I dream this? It is most disturbing. Thanks, Julie

Abandoning your baby daughter suggests that you have had to neglect your unique passion because of time constraints and lack of resources. Even though you would have loved to devote more of your attention to it, there have been many other demands on your time. However now and again, you still manage to return to doing what you love doing most.

The cot being on fire symbolises a creative opportunity that you have recently become aware of. You would like to seize this opportunity with both hands but you are scared that you will get your fingers burnt financially. Although it seems like a big risk to take, you know that you want to express your unique talents more than anything else in the world.
