Dream
Aged 78yrs., I seem to dream more as I get older. A lot of the people in my dreams are familiar, friends, relatives etc. A greater number seem to be total strangers. Are they figments of my imagination, or are they people I have seen on a bus, in the pub, walking along the street and my subconscience has `clocked` and filed away, bringing them out in my dreams.
Meaning
Our dream life often becomes richer as we get older and as we reflect on the extent of our life experience. The people we see in dreams are often reflections of parts of our own personality that we are not consciously aware of. We create these people from all our unconscious influences and use them to reflect the growing wisdom of our evolving identity. Some of these character traits, as you so rightly observe, are drawn from the imagery of strangers whom you encounter in your waking life.
